Hourly Hire Photography                    3 hours for:  $750

Minimium three hours with post shoot editing included.

You get two photographers for three hours with about the same time spent editing the images before you get them on CD.

We don't recommend you have your wedding photos printed at a "mart" store due to the lack of quality control which reflects in how long they will last. If however you feel the need to print your own and build your own album ect, at least this service ensures you will have professional images to work with. Keep in mind automatic mini-lab printers almost always destroy the artistic part of your images we tried so hard to create!

Warning about cheap offers

To some people Wedding photography looks like a sure fire way to make a quick buck on the weekends. Digital cameras have brought to us a fairly constant way to get colourful pictures without much effort.

Kiosks in department stores also look like a way to get cheap (as in 9¢ each) prints. Those avid photographers who have bought DSLR cameras and figured their work is pretty good - compared to those who followed this path before, wrongly think that's all there is to it.

My own daughter got ripped off by one of these people in the dying days of film. I offered to pay for her wedding photography but as stubborn as she is, she decided not to burden me with the cost.

I watched a comedy of horrors unfold as a couple of ladies proceeded to teach themselves how to be wedding photographers at my daughters expense.

There's a big difference between a photograph and a digital print. Digital prints from kiosks... Those 9 cent wonders you often see are not photographs at all. They a dye sublimation prints and do not have the life of a real photographic print.

Likewise Photo books are not wedding albums. For one thing the paper pages warp and buckle as the humidity (in Queensland) changes with the seasons.

As much as I'd like to believe all the hype about digital photography, the fact that what often follows (cheap prints and photo books) are not likely to last long.

Think for a moment how you will explain to your daughter when she asks to see your wedding album and its paper pages have been eaten by rodents? What did you save? Maybe a couple of hundred bucks and lost the longevity of a real wedding album.

Before you decide to go down the path of hiring a cheap photographer and getting your album printed at a bulk store... Talk to a seasoned professional. Most likely they'll tell you what I just did. You know how it goes... "Pay peanuts... Get Monkeys". No truer words said when it comes to wedding photography.
